Launching a limited edition of this popular SUV from Toyota, the benefits will only be available until October 31; this price is high

To mark the end of year holidays, Toyota also launched a limited edition of its Taser SUV. This is one of the additional accessories that will transform the exterior and interior of the car. Toyota Genuine Accessories (TGA) worth Rs 20,160 are available in this limited edition. It is priced at Rs 10.56 lakh. On the exterior, it features granite gray and red colored front and rear spoilers, door sill guards, chrome trim around the headlights, grille and side moldings. Inside the cabin, the Limited Edition adds door visors, 3D all-weather mats and door lamps. Customers will benefit from this limited edition only until October 31.

Toyota Taser was built on the platform of Maruti Frontex. Its dimensions are the same as those of the Fronx, but it has received a new facade to give it a special new look. The coupe-style subcompact SUV features a bold new honeycomb grille finished in gloss black, new dual LED daytime running lights with a striking Toyota logo in the center. The SUV also gets updated LED taillights, which are connected by a light bar on the trunk, while the model also gets new style alloy wheels.

The cabin is quite similar to that of the Maruti Suzuki Suzuki Swift, with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a two-pod instrument console with the MID unit in the center. The cabin gets a new two-tone treatment, while almost every other feature has been included. It is equipped with many features like automatic climate control, connected car technology, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, 360-degree camera, head-up display, cruise control, automatic LED headlights with daytime running lights. This subcompact SUV also gets a 6-speaker audio system, push-button start/stop, and rear air vents.

The Tajer is offered with 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine options. The 1.2 engine in it generates a power of 89 hp and a maximum torque of 113 Nm, while the turbocharged unit generates a power of 99 hp and a maximum torque of 148 Nm. Transmission options include a manual transmission with 5 speed with both power motors, while the naturally aspirated engine gets a 5 speed AMT and the turbo petrol gets a 6 speed torque converter. The CNG powertrain is also available there.
