This new electric scooter seen recently during tests is not from Vespa. The logo on the front reveals the fact that it is owned by Jitendra EV, one of India’s leading providers of electric mobility solutions. The company currently offers two lines or sub-brands. This includes JMT (JMT 1000 HS 26, JMT 1000 3K, JMT 1000 HS) and Primo (Primo, Primo S, Primo Plus). Unlike the JMT and Primo lines, the company’s next electric scooter looks out of the league. It is believed that the company will introduce this electric scooter as its main product.

This upcoming electric scooter from Jitendra EV looks very premium. Ather is all set to compete with established competitors in the market like Rizta, TVS iQube, Ola S1, Hero Vida and Bajaj Chetak. Even in terms of components, it is better. In the photos shown, round ORVMs can be seen in their chrome finish. The headlights are also round. In which LED is given. It also seems to have integrated LED DRLs. The Jitendra EV logo is shown on the front apron. LED turn signals are provided on both sides. The front fender is large and 12-inch alloy wheels are provided.

The saddle is one-piece with a slight recess for the passenger. There are strong character lines on the body side panels and a very interesting LED taillight. Battery details have not yet been revealed. We can expect it to offer a range of around 100 km on a single charge. There is a hub motor on the rear wheel. It includes front and rear disc brakes.
