As soon as the festival season starts, many companies have announced discounts on their sedans. This list includes Toyota Glanza, Tata Tiago, MG Comet, Maruti Suzuki WagonR and Maruti Suzuki Baleno. A discount of up to Rs 68,000 is available on these cars this month. In such a situation, if you are also planning to buy these cars this month, then you must know about the offers available on them.
1. Toyota Glanza (Savings up to Rs 68,000)
Total benefits of up to Rs 68,000 are available on Toyota Glanza. The sedan is powered by a 1.2-litre engine, which produces 90bhp when running on petrol and 77bhp when running on CNG. There are no benefits on CNG models this month. Ex-showroom prices for Toyota’s rebadged Maruti Baleno range from Rs 6.86 lakh to Rs 10.00 lakh.
2. Tata Tiago and Tiago EV (Savings up to Rs 65,000)
The Tiago hatchback is offered with three powertrain options. This includes an EV, a petrol engine and a CNG. The electrified Tiago gets a discount of up to Rs 50,000 on the long range (LR) version of the XT variant, but last year’s MY2023 model gets an additional discount of Rs 15,000. The other LR variants (with a MIDC range of 275 km) get a discount of up to Rs 40,000.
There is a discount of Rs 10,000 on the MR variant (with a range of up to 221 km). Currently, the EV hatchback is priced between Rs 7.99 lakh and Rs 11.89 lakh. Benefits of up to Rs 60,000 are available on both the petrol and CNG variants of Tiago. This includes cash discount, exchange/scrap benefit and corporate discount. Its prices range from Rs 5.00 lakh to Rs 8.75 lakh. The Tiago is available with a 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine that generates 86 bhp in petrol and 73 bhp in CNG.
3. MG Comet (Savings up to Rs 60,000)
Total benefits of up to Rs 60,000 are available on MG Comet EV. This includes discount, exchange bonus and loyalty bonus. The cheapest MG in India comes with a 17.3 kWh battery, which has a MIDC rated range of 230 km. It can be purchased in three variants. The ex-showroom prices of the Comet range between Rs 6.99 lakh and Rs 9.53 lakh.
4. Maruti Suzuki WagonR (Savings up to Rs 53,100)
The 1.0-litre (67bhp) and 1.2-litre (90bhp) versions of the WagonR with AMT gearbox are getting discounts of up to Rs 53,100. Its manual gearbox variant is getting a discount of up to Rs 48,100. While the CNG versions (57bhp) are getting a discount of Rs 43,100. This large hatchback rivals cars like the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and the Tata Tiago. Its price ranges from Rs 5.55 lakh to Rs 7.21 lakh.
5. Maruti Suzuki Baleno (Savings up to Rs 52,100)
Benefits of up to Rs 52,100 are available on the AMT-equipped variants of Maruti Baleno. Benefits of up to Rs 47,100 and Rs 37,100 are available on the manual and CNG-powered variants. The car, which competes with Tata Altroz and Hyundai i20, is currently priced between Rs 6.66 lakh and Rs 9.83 lakh. There is a discount on the CNG variant of Baleno, but there is no discount on Glanza.
