Maruti Suzuki India has brought Navratri and Diwali discounts on its cars this month i.e. October. Its small and premium sedan Celerio is also part of this list. The company is offering a discount of up to Rs 55,000 on this car this month. The special thing is that last month it had a discount of Rs 52,000. This means that this month the discount has been increased by Rs 3,000. In addition, the company is also offering a scrappage bonus of Rs 5,000 to customers. Its starting ex-showroom price is Rs 5.37 lakh. This is also called the car with the most mileage. Its direct competitor is Tata Tiago.
Celerio Features and Specifications
The Celerio gets a new radiant grille, sharp headlight unit and fog light housing. Front bumper with black accent. Some elements were also carried over from Celerio. The side profile of the car is also completely different from the outgoing model. It features newly designed 15-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, you get a body-colored rear bumper, flowing-looking taillights, and a curved tailgate.
Space has been increased in Celerio. Features such as segment-first hill start assist, engine start/stop and a large infotainment screen will be available inside the car. The car has a center-centric visual appeal with sharp dashboard lines, dual-slot air vents with chrome accents, a new gear shift design and a new design for the upholstery. It has a 7-inch SmartPlay Studio screen with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The car will get a total of 12 safety features, including two airbags, ABS with EBD and hill hold assist (segment first). The company claims that the new Celerio meets all Indian safety regulations such as frontal offset, side impact collisions and pedestrian passenger safety. It can be purchased in a total of 6 colors like Solid Fire Red and Speedy Blue as well as Arctic White, Silky Silver, Glistening Grey, Caffeine Brown, Red and Blue.
Celerio gets the 1.0-litre K10C DualJet three-cylinder petrol engine. It comes with a start/stop system. This engine generates a power of 66 hp and a torque of 89 Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox. According to the company, it offers a mileage of 26.68 km on one liter of petrol and 35.60 km on one kg of CNG. Celerio has a 32 liter fuel tank.
