Renault launches hand-built electric motorcycle, which will travel up to 110 km on a single charge; Know the price selected

Renault unveiled the Renault 4 E-Tech electric car at the 2024 Paris Motor Show. An electric motorcycle named Heritage Spirit Scrambler was also in its list. This is a scrambler-type electric motorcycle offered by Renault, available from 23,340 euros. This works out to around Rs 21.20 lakh. Its price is quite high, but it is an artisanal product whose production will also be limited.

Characteristics of the Renault Heritage Spirit Scrambler electric motorcycle

Renault’s electric motorcycle is called Heritage Spirit Scrambler and is built by a French start-up called Ateliers Heritage Bikes, based in Poissy, near the French city of Annecy. The Heritage Spirit Scrambler is a hand-built, limited-production electric motorcycle. The company has started taking pre-orders. Its delivery will begin from 2025.

The Heritage Spirit Scrambler is offered in two variants, Standard and 50. Coming to the price, the price of the 50 version starts at EUR 23,450 (Rs 21.20 lakh). Its top speed can reach 45 km/h. While the standard Heritage Spirit Scrambler can reach a top speed of 99 km/h. Its price is 24,950 euros. This version requires an A1 license or a B196 car license.

Speaking of the design of this electric motorcycle, it sports a nice neo-retro scrambler look. This is a limited edition vehicle. It features a small LED headlight with integrated LED daytime running lights, one-piece ribbed genuine leather seat, wide handlebars with rounded mirrors, a traditional fuel tank-like design with the battery attached underneath .

The motorcycle is powered by a 4.8 kWh battery, capable of powering a single electric motor placed in the wheel hub. This electric motor is designed to deliver a maximum power of 10 hp and a maximum torque of 280 Nm. Its range after full charge is 110Km. Its total empty weight is 137 kg.

All its components are premium. The Renault electric motorcycle comes with a USD telescopic front fork from WP, a monoshock rear unit from EMC and 17-inch aluminum spoked wheels wrapped in scrambler-style knobby tires from Heidenau. A 320mm front disc brake and 240mm rear disc brake setup is given.
