You can buy Maruti Swift CNG in VXi, VXi (O) and ZXi. The ZXi variant comes with features like LED lighting setup, 15-inch alloy wheels, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, rear AC vents and button keyless start/stop. Let us tell you that in the Indian market, it will directly compete with Grand i10 Nios and Tiago CNG.
The Swift CNG is powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder Z-series petrol engine, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. In this tuning state, the engine generates a power of 80 hp and a torque of 112 Nm in standard mode. When converted to CNG, the power output is reduced to 69 hp and 102 Nm of peak torque. In terms of fuel efficiency, Swift CNG offers a mileage of up to 32.85 km/kg.
Preparing for the launch of Desire as well
The company is preparing to launch its new generation of Swift. The company has released the official teaser of this sedan for the first time. The company gave the caption in this teaser: “The best is only the beginning.” Let us tell you that the Dezire is the number 1 sedan in the country. It competes with cars like Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze and Tata Tigor. However, no model comes close in terms of sales. Many segment-first features will be available in the new Swift. In addition, the company will also supply a new engine. It is believed that it could be launched after Diwali on November 4.
