BMW’s new generation X3 will be launched in January and will change so much from the old model; see details

German company BMW is gearing up to launch its 4th generation BMW X3 in the Indian market. According to reports, the company may launch this car at the India Mobility Expo in January 2025. The car will be sold in India with X3 20d diesel and X3 20 petrol engines. Its ex-showroom price is expected to be between Rs 68 lakh and Rs 70 lakh. This new generation BMW X3 will compete with the Mercedes-Benz GLC, Audi Q5 and Volvo XC60.

The X3, released in June this year, retains a familiar silhouette, but will have a new face. Changes will also be visible at the rear. BMW borrowed many styling cues from the iX. Blocky shapes were chosen instead of the rounded edges of the previous generation model. BMW has paid great attention to minimalism. This is most visible in the cabin, where you have a large screen with multiple functions. He also looks dominant on the scoreboard.

As for its engine, the 2.0-liter X3 20 four-cylinder gasoline engine is available, which generates a power of 206 hp and a torque of 320 Nm. While the X3 20d diesel engine generates a power of 197 hp and a torque of 400 Nm. Both engines receive an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard. BMW will not bring the 30d 6-cylinder to India, but will offer the performance-oriented M50 variant in limited numbers sometime in 2025.
