Kia India has launched its new electric SUV EV9 in the Indian market. Its ex-showroom price has been set at Rs 1.3 crore. Only the fully loaded GT-Line variant will be sold. The India-spec EV9 features a 99.8 kWh battery pack that sends power to two electric motors for an all-wheel-drive setup. The two electric motors combined generate 384 hp of power and 700 Nm of peak torque, allowing the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds. It offers an ARAI certified range of 561 km on a full charge. With a 350 kW DC fast charger, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in 24 minutes.
