This car has packed its bags from India, dealers are now offering a discount of Rs 2 lakh to clear the stock.

Hyundai Motor India has announced its Navratri and Diwali discounts. Its Kona Electric SUV also features in this company’s list. According to CarDekho, this car gets benefits worth Rs 2 lakh this month. The twist is that the company has removed this car from its website. The company now only sells Ionic 5 in this segment. However, many dealers still have Kona EV inventory. In such a situation, huge discounts are given on stock clearance. The company has also given a cash discount of up to Rs 4 lakh on this. Its starting price is Rs 23.84 lakh.

The Kona EV is also Hyundai’s first electric model in the Indian market. The company launched it in 2019. No updates have been made to it since. Kona EV sales have been declining for several months. Even a cash rebate worth hundreds of thousands of dollars couldn’t increase its sales. There is also a report that the company is offering Creta EV, leading to its discontinuation. Not a single unit has been sold for several months this year.
