The all-new Curve SUV coupe from Tata Motors is receiving a great response in the market. Its chart rose to around 5,000 units by the second month of sales. Not only that, but the Curve also eclipsed the company’s 5 models. In September, the Curve overtook the Safari, Harrier and the affordable Tiago, Tigor and Altroz in terms of sales. Its 4,763 units were sold last month. While in August, its 3,455 units were sold. Currently, its ex-showroom price starts at Rs 9.99 lakh. Which is worth Rs 19 lakh for the top-end model. However, this is the launch price of this 5-seater SUV. The company clarified that these prices will only be valid for reservations received until October 31, 2024.

Tata Curve Features and Specifications
>> Curve is available in four versions Smart, Pure, Creative and Achieved. Interestingly, the Tata Curve has become the 11th vehicle in the compact SUV segment. Curve is built on Tata Motors’ new Atlas platform. The Tata Curve differs from the Curve EV.
>>The Curve features a grille with vents to let fresh air flow into the engine, while the air dam is designed differently. Also different from the Curve EV are the 18-inch alloy wheels, which require a more aerodynamic design to increase range.
>> Talking about features, the Tata Curve gets a four-spoke steering wheel with backlit Tata logo, a 12.3-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a cluster of 10.25-inch digital instruments, a 9-speaker JBL audio system and comes with a wireless phone charger.
Tata curve engine and transmission
>> Tata Motors has a new 1.2-litre GDi turbocharged petrol engine, dubbed Hyperion. He made his debut with Curve. This engine is capable of generating 124 hp of power and 225 Nm of torque. It is paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed DCA automatic transmission. This new engine is offered from the Creative S trim variant and is priced at Rs 13.69 lakh.
>> The Tata Curve QV variant gets a 1.2-litre turbocharged engine, which also powers the Tata Nexon. This engine is capable of generating a maximum power of 119 hp and a maximum torque of 170 Nm. This engine comes with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed DCA automatic transmission. Both engine options with automatic transmission receive paddle shifters, allowing manual control of the gearbox.
>> Tata Curve is available with the option of a 1.5 liter Chirotec diesel engine, which generates a maximum power of 117 bhp and a maximum torque of 260 Nm. It also comes with a 6-speed manual transmission as well as a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Tata Curve is the first SUV in its segment to get a dual-clutch automatic transmission with a diesel engine. Paddle shifters are also available on the dual-clutch automatic variants of the diesel powertrain.
