Royal Enfield achieved an overall year-on-year sales growth of 6.82% in September 2024, with a total of 79,326 units sold compared to 74,261 units sold in the same month of the year last. Royal Enfield Classic 350 was the leader with over 43% of sales. The company’s 350cc motorcycles are in the top 4, with a market share of 90%. Let’s take a look at how each model performs.
Royal Enfield September 2024 Sales Details
Royal Enfield Classic 350 remains Royal Enfield’s best seller with 33,065 units sold in September 2024, a growth of 27.16% compared to 26,003 units sold in the same month last year. It holds the largest share of the brand’s range, with a substantial share of 41.68%.
The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 continues to perform strongly. It recorded sales of 17,406 units, a solid growth of 18.04% compared to the 14,746 units sold in September 2023. This model now represents 21.94% of the brand’s sales.
Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is one of the iconic models of Royal Enfield. Its sales saw a significant decline, with 12,901 units sold in September 2024, compared to 18,316 units sold in the same month last year. This represents a drop of 29.56%. It holds a 16.26% stake in the range.
The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 posted stable sales in September 2024 with 8,665 units sold, a marginal growth of 0.07% compared to 8,659 units sold in the same month last year. It holds a 10.92% share.

The 650 models, including the Interceptor and Continental GT, performed remarkably well with sales of 2,869 units in September 2024. This is a notable increase of 124.14% from the 1,280 units sold in September 2023. With a market share of 3.62%, the 650 twins are gaining popularity thanks to their powerful engines and premium appeal.
Himalayan saw a sharp decline in sales. Only 1,814 units were sold in September 2024, while last year it achieved sales of 3,218 units, a decline of 43.63%. Its market share has now fallen to 2.29%. This decline is likely due to the new Guerrilla 450, which is a more affordable, city-friendly motorcycle. Royal Enfield’s new Guerrilla recorded sales of 1,657 units in September 2024, accounting for 2.09% of the brand’s total sales.
Super Meteor clash in September 2024. Its sales stood at just 685 units, compared to 2,039 units in the same period last year, a considerable drop of 66.41%.
The Shotgun managed to sell 264 units in September 2024, accounting for 0.33% of Royal Enfield’s sales. Royal Enfield will enter the electric vehicle segment next month as it prepares to unveil its new electric motorcycle.
