Astor’s Savvy Pro Turbo 1.3 AT Sangria Red, Savvy Pro 1.5 CVT Sangria Red and Savvy Pro 1.5 CVT Ivory versions have been made costlier by Rs 27,000. Sharp Pro 1.5 CVT Ivory, Sharp Pro 1.5 MT Ivory and Select versions 1.5 CVT Ivory have become costlier by Rs 26,000, Rs 24,000 and Rs 21,000 respectively. The price of Shine 1.5 MT Ivory and Select 1.5 MT Ivory has been increased by Rs 20,000. Overall, its new prices have ranged from Rs 9.98 lakh to Rs 18.35 lakh.

Hybrid option will also be available in MG Aster

The Astor features a hybrid setup, which was first introduced with the new MG3. It is also used with some other MG cars. The hybrid system is equipped with a 1.5-liter Atkinson cycle gasoline engine, which generates a power of 102 hp. The electric motor generates 100 kW (136 hp). The combined power of the new MG Astor Hybrid+ is 196 hp. The hybrid SUV is offered in a front-wheel drive system. It is equipped with a 3-speed automatic transmission.

The new MG Aster Hybrid Plus takes 8.7 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h. It is equipped with a 1.83 kWh lithium-ion battery. The battery is 350 volts. It is recharged from a 45 kW generator. The SUV has the ability to run entirely on electric power for a specified period of time and under certain conditions. The 100 km fuel efficiency is quite good, around 20 km per liter. CO2 emissions are certified at 115 g/km according to WLTP standards. The new MG Astor Hybrid Plus has received the DGT ECO environmental badge.

Sporting a sporty profile, the new MG Astor Hybrid Plus features stylish LED headlights and LED daytime running lights, a black-finished grille and polygonal air intakes. The side profile is sporty, distinguished by 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels, thick cladding and side moldings. The hybrid SUV gets chrome trim on the windows, chrome-finish roof rails and body-colored door handles. At the rear, it features triangular LED taillights and a dual-tone bumper.
