The country’s number one automaker, Maruti Suzuki India, continues to dominate exports. Maruti far outpaced other companies in terms of exports in the first half (H1) of FY2025, i.e. April-September. Additionally, the company also has the highest market share of 39% in the export segment. As per data received from SIAM, Maruti exported 1,47,063 vehicles in the first half of FY 2025. While Hyundai Motor India, which ranked second, exported 84,900 units. This means that there is a difference of 62,163 units between the two.

Maruti Suzuki India exported 1,47,063 units between April and September 2024. While between April and September 2023, this figure was 1,31,546 units. This means that the company recorded a growth of 12%. Hyundai Motor India exported 84,900 units between April and September 2024. While between April and September 2023, this figure was 86,105 units. This means that the company recorded a decline of 1%.

Volkswagen India exported 35,079 units between April and September 2024. While between April and September 2023, this figure was 20,206 units. This means that the company recorded a growth of 74%. Nissan Motor India exported 33,059 units between April and September 2024. While between April and September 2023, this figure was 20,163 units. This means that the company recorded a growth of 64%.

Honda Cars India exported 31,775 units between April and September 2024. While between April and September 2023, this figure was 9,669 units. This means that the company recorded a growth of 229%. Kia India exported 14,828 units between April and September 2024. While between April and September 2023, this figure was 39,247 units. This means that the company recorded a decline of 62%.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor exported 12,288 units between April and September 2024. While between April and September 2023, this figure was 8,264 units. This means that the company recorded a growth of 49%. Renault India exported 6,364 units between April and September 2024. While between April and September 2023, this figure was 8,844 units. This means that the company recorded a decline of 28%.

Mahindra & Mahindra exported 5,606 units between April and September 2024. While between April and September 2023, this figure was 6,656 units. This means that the company recorded a decline of 16%. PCA Motors exported 2,259 units between April and September 2024. While between April and September 2023, this figure was 1,101 units. This means that the company recorded 105% growth.

Tata Motors exported 1,512 units between April and September 2024. While between April and September 2023, this figure was 1,403 units. This means that the company recorded growth of 8%. FCA India exported 1,204 units between April and September 2024. While between April and September 2023, this figure was 2,636 units. This means that the company recorded a decline of 54%.

Skoda Auto India exported 674 units between April and September 2024. While between April and September 2023, this figure was 911 units. This means that the company recorded a decline of 26%. JSW MG Motor India exported 58 units between April and September 2024. Force Motors exported 10 units between April and September 2024. While between April and September 2023, this figure was 3 units. This means that the company recorded a growth of 233%.
