KTM, the company selling sports motorcycles in the Indian market, is all set to showcase its new motorcycle at the EICMA event to be held next month. In fact, the company will present the New Generation 390 Adventure during this event which will be held in Milan, Italy. Most of the changes made will also be seen in the 250 Adventure motorcycle. Let us tell you that the upcoming new adventure motorcycle KTM 250 was also spotted testing recently.
Released photos of the new KTM 250 Adventure show that it will have a slim, almost enduro design with a specific insect-shaped headlight. Its mirror grip resembles that of the Dominar and Pulsar NS400Z. The KTM 250 Adventure will not get LED DRLs like the 390 Adventure bike, but instead it will get projector lights. Additionally, there will also be a long and tall windshield to block the air from the rider.
The KTM 250 Adventure will get the LCD dashboard and switchgear like the 250 Duke and Vitpilen 250. The test mule of the latest bike was seen with spoked wheels. This means that it is equipped with tube tires. However, the spoke wheel option was never offered in the Indian market. It will be equipped with dual-purpose tires with 19-inch spoke wheels at the front and 17-inch spoke wheels at the rear.
Now talking about the engine, the 250 Adventure can get the LC4C engine like the KTM Duke 250, which produces 31 bhp of power and 25 Nm of torque. The transmission will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It will get a long travel front suspension with a revised trellis frame and a monoshock unit at the rear. It is expected to be priced higher than the current model’s ex-showroom price of Rs 2.49 lakh.
