During this event, the prototype of the robotaxi was presented to the world. If reports are to be believed, this robotaxi from Tesla company might be launched under the name Cybercab. Currently, Tesla has not given any official information regarding the price of this robotaxi, but the price of this robotaxi may be $30,000 (around Rs. 25 lakh).
The cost of 1.6 km is around Rs 16
Elon Musk expressed hope that Tesla can start production of robotaxi, i.e. cybercar, before 2027. Along with Tesla Robotex, the autonomous vehicle RoboVen was also introduced. The particularity of this Robovan will be that 20 people will be able to travel simultaneously in this van. Apart from people, space will also be provided in this van to transport goods. The cost of running the robotaxi can be 20 cents per mile, i.e. the cost of 1.6 kilometers can be around Rs 16.
Only 2 people will be able to travel
A wireless charging facility will also be available in Tesla Robotx. Just like the possibility of wireless charging is available on any smartphone. This Cybercab will come with wireless charging support. It will be a fully autonomous electric vehicle in which pedals and steering wheel will not be available. The appearance of the car is quite spectacular from the outside, while the cabin of the car may seem compact to you, as it can accommodate only two people.
