According to the Timebull report, the tastes of the country’s population have changed again in the last month. In fact, Maruti Suzuki WagonR, which was number 1 in the hatchback segment in August, reached the second position in September. At the same time, Maruti Swift, which was in the second position, reached the first position in September. In the top 7 models list released, there are 4 models from Maruti, 1 from Tata and 2 from Hyundai.

According to the report, in September 2024, 16,854 units of Maruti Suzuki Swift, 16,191 units of Maruti Suzuki WagonR, 9,309 units of Maruti Suzuki Baleno, 7,353 units of Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, 5,665 units of Tata Tiago, 4,937 units of Hyundai i20 and Hyundai Grand 4922 units i10 Nios were sold. Design, features and specifications of the next generation Swift
A brand new interior will be visible there. Its cabin is quite luxurious. Rear air vents are available. A wireless charger and two charging ports will be available in this car. It will have a reversing camera, so that the driver can park the car easily. It has a standalone 9-inch infotainment screen.
A newly designed dashboard is available there. This screen supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay with wireless connectivity. The center console has been redesigned, with the same automatic climate control panel as the Baleno and Grand Vitara. Apart from this, it gets a new LED fog light.
The company introduced it in 6 variants LXi, VXi, VXi (O), ZXi, ZXi+ and ZXi+ Dual Tone. Talking about its price, the price of the base LXi variant of the 2024 Maruti Swift starts from Rs 6.49 lakh. The top-end ZXi model goes up to Rs 9.64 lakh for the dual tone.
Coming to its powertrain, it will see an all-new Z-series engine, which significantly increases the mileage compared to the old Swift. The all-new 1.2L Z12E 3-cylinder NA petrol engine in it is capable of generating 80hp of power and 112nm of torque.
A mild hybrid setup is seen here. It offers 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox options. Talking about its mileage, the company claims a mileage of 24.80 kmmpl for the manual FE variant and 25.75 kmmpl for the automatic FE variant.
Coming to the safety features of the new Swift, it will get hill hold control, ESP, new suspension and 6 airbags for all variants. It has amazing safety features like cruise control, 3-point seat belts for all seats, anti-lock braking system, electronic brake force distribution (EBD), brake assist (BA).
