Bajaj Auto is all set to launch the new model of its best-selling Pulsar Pulsar N125. The company sent an invitation to this effect on October 16. “Brand new Pulsar” is written in this invitation. The company did not mention the model in the invitation, but it is believed to be the Pulsar N125. This bike has been seen several times during testing. In such a situation, its launch date has finally been revealed.
The company’s launch invite reveals that the next Pulsar will be “fun, agile and urban.” The word “Urban” means that the new Pulsar N125 could be a premium commuter vehicle with a sporty and youthful style. The spy shots reveal that the motorcycle will have a muscular-looking fuel tank extension, a split seat and a two-piece grab bar. An LED headlamp will also be available.
The new Pulsar N125 will get the same 125cc single-cylinder engine as the existing Pulsar 125. The engine can, however, be modified to give a sporty character to the motorcycle. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Bajaj Pulsar N125 will compete with TVS Raider 125 and Hero Xtreme 125R. The ex-showroom price of this motorcycle can be around Rs 90,000 to Rs 1 lakh.
Its braking hardware may include a front disc brake and a rear drum brake. It is believed that Bajaj might introduce a rear disc brake variant with single-channel ABS. Telescopic front forks and rear monoshocks will be available for suspension. As for features, there is a digital console with smartphone connectivity.
