Mahindra sold 51,062 SUVs in September 2024, a growth of 24% compared to last year. XUV700, Thar and Scorpio-N were the main contributors to this growth.
Automaker Mahindra & Mahindra achieved 24% growth in sales for September 2024. The company sold a total of 51,062 SUVs last month. XUV700, Thar and Scorpio N contributed significantly to this increase. These three models are very popular in the Indian market. These powerful SUVs win the hearts of customers with their features. The company’s overall sales also grew by 16%, with 87,839 units sold.
Thar Roxx booking will start soon
Mahindra recently held an auction for Thar Roxx and the bid for the first unit reached over Rs 1 crore. The company had also released the price of this model in September itself, which starts at Rs 18.79 lakh with 4×4 drivetrain.
The Mahindra Thar Roxx has a stretched wheelbase compared to the standard Thar, which increases second row space and boot space. This SUV is available in RWD and 4×4 drivetrain options. It gets features like new projector headlights, new alloy wheels and ADAS.

The new Mahindra Thar Rocks will also get wireless charging, auto-dimming IRVM and a 360-degree camera. Features such as ADAS Level 2 will also be available there.
